Because sunrise/sunset are not always at the same time, and vary based on lattitude and time of year, it was hard to predict what color the sky should be. For example, in some places, at some times, the 5:00 AM should be pitch black, and in others, 5:00AM would be sunrise, or even daytime.

It's not an impossible task, but a difficult one, and I ended up disabling the feature. If you have any ideas on how this could be implemented, I'd happily do so.Update: I did it, kinda. The wallpaper has a realtime option with the ability to move sunrise and sunset around. It still doesn't quite line up, but it almost works. No real ideas on how to implement something like this, fairly new (just downloaded today) wallpaper engine. Maybe something not as precise as what you're describing.
I'd be happy with just having a menu where you select what time you would like for the wallpaper theme to change to morning, afternoon, night, with a smooth transition animation between each. That way if the user is annoyed by a certain day cycle triggering at a certain point, they could set it to be at a specific point in time. I feel as though I might be demanding too much for a community driven wallpaper application, haha. Regardless, thanks for your interest.
